Surgery Center receives accreditation

We are pleased to announce that Lake Cumberland Surgery Center has been accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) for the demonstration of quality health care 2011.
The achievement is a three-year accreditation recently completed from a June 2011 Survey. The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) is a private, non-profit organization that is a leader in improving health care quality through accreditation and elevating the level of quality health care AAAHC promotes patient safety, quality and value for ambulatory health care through peer-based accreditation processes, education and research. Accreditation is awarded to organizations that are found to be in compliance with the Accreditation Association standards.
As we celebrate our ten year anniversary this December, we are proud to have met this challenge of accreditation, and intend to serve the community with principles of quality improvement and patient care daily.
