Completed in July 2019, LCRH's Imaging Center features a women's lounges and a custom curated, spa-like atmosphere to put your mind at ease while you wait for your procedure.
The Lake Cumberland Imaging Center, fully certified by the American College of Radiology in mammography and MRI, is committed to excellence in patient care and customer service. We are a facility dedicated solely to diagnostic and evaluation services, delivering accurate and timely information so patients and physicians can act to achieve the best possible health care treatment.
In May of 2025, The Lake Cumberland Imaging Center was designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the highest level of quality in breast imaging for facilities and patients. This prestigious designation recognizes breast imaging centers that have achieved accreditation in critical areas, including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy), and breast MRI. Lake Cumberland Imaging Center is proud to be the only local accredited breast center in the area, emphasizing its commitment to providing exceptional breast health services. This recognition reflects the facility’s dedication to delivering the highest standards of care to the community.

Imaging Services
Because our facility is off-site from the hospital, we only offer outpatient imaging services, which means more timely appointments. We offer a wide range of imaging services under one roof: MRI, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Bone Dexatometry, PET. For specific breast services, we offer Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRI, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy, and Magseed. Laboratory services are also available at the Imaging Center.
The Imaging Center is equipped to serve health care professionals and the growing health care needs of the citizens in the Lake Cumberland region. Medical imaging technology available at The Imaging Center includes the ability to diagnose specific conditions such as breast cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, stroke, vascular diseases and others. Noninvasive and minimally invasive procedures such as image guided biopsies avoid more costly invasive surgical procedures and allow for quicker response to health care advice.
We understand that many diagnostic imaging services may be somewhat uncomfortable, and our staff is sensitive to your needs. Our friendly, professional technologists and support personnel are state and nationally certified. They have extensive training specific to their particular diagnostic equipment, so you know your results will be as accurate as possible. And your results are quickly available to your physician, so you can proceed with any necessary treatment without delay.
We're located near the LCRH campus, with easy access from Bogle Street and Tradepark Drive. The Imaging Center features a covered drive-up entrance and ample parking close to the building.

The Imaging Center offers separate men's and women's lounge areas for your convenience and privacy as well as individual changing rooms in both lounges and secure storage areas for your belongings while you are undergoing your imaging exam.
