Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Theresa Fite, MBA, CPPS, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Fite brings with her an impressive track record of over 25 years in the healthcare finance sector, where she has consistently contributed to operational excellence and financial growth.

Fite joins LCRH from Meadowview Regional Medical Center and Fleming County Hospital, both Lifepoint Hospitals in Maysville, Kentucky, where she served as Market Chief Financial Officer since 2015. Under her leadership, these hospitals successfully navigated numerous projects, including the upgrade of clinical information systems and strategic planning initiatives focused on patient safety.

Throughout her career, Fite has demonstrated skill in operational analysis, profit and loss management, and strategic planning. She is also a Certified Professional in Patient Safety, underscoring her commitment to maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.

Before her role in Maysville, Fite held several influential positions within Lifepoint Hospitals, including Chief Financial Officer at Logan Memorial Hospital and Controller at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. Her strategic initiatives have led to increased operational efficiencies and significant financial savings for her facilities, including the successful implementation of new service lines and community outreach programs.

Fite holds a Master of Business Administration from Morehead State University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University. She is dedicated to enhancing the healthcare experience for both patients and staff and is excited to begin her journey at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
