Help Us Celebrate American Heart Month this February!

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital invites students to showcase their creativity and help spread awareness about heart health by creating a custom t-shirt design! This is an opportunity for students to express their artistic talents while promoting the importance of maintaining a healthy heart. We encourage you to think outside the box—use bold colors, powerful messages, and imaginative designs that inspire others to prioritize their cardiovascular health. Let your creativity shine as we work together to raise awareness about heart health in our community!

Contest Rules:

• Designs should focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle to maintain a healthy heart.
• Open to students aged Preschool-12th Grade.
• Any medium (marker, paint, digital, etc.) is allowed.
• Participants must submit their original work. Group submissions are allowed.
• To submit, upload either scans or photographs by filling out the form here: https://form.jotform.com/260326263366153 
• Designs can also be dropped off in the administration office at LCRH (305 Langdon St., Somerset, KY 42503 in the basement level).
• The classroom size limit for the distribution of t-shirts is 30.
• Students may use the supplied template, but it is not required..
• There is NO LIMIT to the number of designs your class or school can submit.
• Do not copy, trace, or redraw existing designs.
• Do not submit artwork that contains trademarks or copyrighted images or characters.
• We reserve the right to alter the winning design before printing. Shirt color will be determined by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
• Grande Prize Winner will receive: T-shirts for your class printed with the winning design plus a pizza party (up to 30 students)!

Reception Details:
Join us for a reception hosted at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 3rd, from 4-6 PM in the lobby, where the artwork will be showcased. Come celebrate the creativity of our talented students!

Media Participation Agreement and Release
By entering this contest and submitting your design, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. You acknowledge that all designs submitted are considered works-for-hire under the United States Copyright Act of 1976. Therefore, all rights, title, and interest in the designs will be owned solely by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and its affiliates.
2. You grant Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital and its representatives the right to display, publish, distribute, modify, and create derivative works from your design for promotional and educational purposes without further compensation.
3. You understand and agree that by entering this contest, the name of the participating student may be publicly disclosed by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in connection with the promotion of the contest and its outcomes, including in press releases, social media posts, and other marketing materials.
4. You represent that your submitted design is your original work and does not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or rights of any third party.
5. You waive any "moral rights" associated with your design and release Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital from any claims related to the use of your design or name, including claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
6. If your design is selected, you will assign all rights in connection with the design to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Important Dates:

• The Contest Deadline is February 20th, 2026.
• The winner will be announced on February 27th, 2026.
• Grand Prize : T-shirts for your class printed with the winning design plus a pizza party (up to 30 students)!
• Artwork Reception at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital from 4-6pm on Tuesday, March 3rd.
