Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Welcomes New Physicians to Medical Staff

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH) is pleased to announce that Madiha Jilani, MD, and Erika Kelly, DO, have joined the Apogee hospitalist team as internal medicine hospitalists. Both physicians will provide inpatient care at LCRH, strengthening the hospital’s capacity to care for hospitalized adults and older patients in our community.

Dr. Madiha Jilani is a 2024 graduate of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She completed a Geriatric Fellowship at Indiana University Hospital (July 2024 – June 2025) and holds an MBBS from Ziauddin Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan (2006–2012). Her broad clinical background includes rotations and training in internal medicine, radiology, cardiology, hematology/oncology, general surgery, and OB/GYN across institutions in the United States and Pakistan.

Dr. Erika Kelly earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Medicine (graduated May 2016) and completed undergraduate studies at Eastern Kentucky University, graduating magna cum laude with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Kelly trained in internal medicine at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (Internal Medicine Residency) as an internal medicine resident. She brings focused inpatient care experience and a strong academic background to her role as a hospitalist.
