Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Welcomes Grant Allbritten, DO, Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital (LCRH) is pleased to announce the addition of Grant Allbritten, DO, to its medical staff as an Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist.

Dr. Allbritten specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions through advanced, minimally invasive procedures designed to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. His specialties include the evaluation and management of spine-related pain, nerve disorders, musculoskeletal conditions, and other complex pain syndromes.

A native of the region, Dr. Allbritten earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Ohio Northern University before receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee. He completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky, where he also served as Academic Chief Resident. Dr. Allbritten continued his advanced subspecialty training through a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, Critical Care and Pain Medicine.

Throughout his training, Dr. Allbritten has been recognized for his academic achievements, leadership, and commitment to excellence in patient care. His professional interests include spine and musculoskeletal disorders, neuromodulation, rehabilitation medicine, and evidence-based approaches to pain management. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience, the North American Spine Society, the Kentucky Medical Association, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Allbritten is committed to providing personalized care that helps patients regain function and return to the activities that matter most to them. He works closely with primary care physicians, specialists, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
