Lake Cumberland Wound Care Center Recognized as a Healogics Center of Distinction and 2023 Center of Excellence

The Lake Cumberland Wound Care Center recently achieved recognition as a 2023 Healogics Center of Distinction and received the prestigious Robert A. Warriner III, M.D., Center of Excellence award. This is a national honor that recognizes the Wound Care Center for achieving or exceeding outstanding clinical and operational results in 2023, including a comprehensive healing rate greater than 83% and a patient satisfaction rate greater than 92%, which puts them in the top 10% of nearly 600 Healogics centers in the country. The Center was awarded this prestigious honor by Healogics, the nation's largest provider of advanced wound care services. The award is named for Dr. Robert A. Warriner III, a pioneer in wound care and the former Chief Medical Officer for Healogics.

The Lake Cumberland Wound Care Center is a member of the Healogics network of nearly 600 Wound Care Centers, with access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds. Lake Cumberland Wound Care Center offers highly specialized wound care to patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections, and other chronic wounds. Advanced wound care modalities provided by our wound care experts include negative pressure wound therapy, total contact casting, bio-engineered tissues, and biosynthetic dressings.
